360’s sister publication SciFiNow has just announced a partnership with leading film marketing company Moviebeat to bring exclusive video content to its website.

The SciFiNow website has recently been host to a number of interviews for The Dark Knight and a premier report for the recent X-Files movie and, thanks to this new deal, it will soon be host to a number of exclusive behind-the-scenes featurettes, trailers and interviews for the upcoming movies The Mummy: Tomb Of The Dragon Emperor, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Hellboy II: The Golden Army, The Strangers and Death Race.

According to reports from Charttrack and VGChartz, GTA IV has smashed all first day videogames sales records, beating those set by Halo 3 last September.

In the UK alone it shifted a massive 609,000 units (335,000 on 360 and 274,000 on PS3) on Tuesday. This compares favourably with sales of San Andreas, which took 8 days to pass the 1M sold mark in the UK – a figure which GTA IV looks set to pass in the next few days.

The total first day sales in Europe stood at an estimated 1.4M and in the US 2.5M copies were sold, bringing the total sales close to the 5M mark.

Overall, the game has sold best on 360, with a higher attach rate on PS3.
